A Decatur native, Taylor Stovall graduated from Warrensburg-Latham High School and then completed cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell in Normal, Ill. After graduating, she moved to Springfield to work at a salon. However, after some time, Taylor decided to explore other opportunities beyond being a stylist. Finding a listing for a teller position at INB’s Dirksen branch, she took a chance and applied.

Despite minimal banking experience, Taylor immediately felt at ease with the INB team and was thrilled to start a new chapter of her journey at the bank. She worked at INB’s North Dirksen branch for about a year and a half before the opportunity came up for her to join the new team for INB’s Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). As an Interactive Teller, Taylor truly enjoys collaborating with her coworkers and servicing customers.

Outside of work, Taylor is passionate about painting and drawing, with her favorite medium being oil paints. She also loves to play video games and to read, especially manga, (comics or graphic novels originating from Japan). She is close with her mom, older brother, and niece, and she finds joy in supporting small businesses and getting to know the local owners. Local events are a big draw for Taylor, who especially likes the Levitt AMP summer music concerts in downtown Springfield, as well as arts and crafts shows, where she hopes to sell some of her own art someday soon.
