Bailey Holmes, Mt. Pulaski Senior of the Month
Olympiads aren’t just for runners and swimmers, they’re for scientists too.  Bailey Holmes competed in the annual Science Olympiad representing Mt. Pulaski.

She has also maintained a 4.0 GPA, and has been on the High Honor Roll for every semester that she has been in high school.  She was also chosen as the English III Student of the Year.

While keeping her grades up she has been a part of numerous extra-curricular activities.  She has participated in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering, Spanish Club, and been inducted to the National Honors Society.

She has also served on student council, her school’s spirit squad, and the cheerleading team all throughout her four years at Mt. Pulaski.

Bayley plans to attend Illinois State University to major in business.

The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by Johnson True Value Hardware and Larry Conaway Jr. Monthly winners receive a $100 award paid to the college the winner plans to attend. Monthly winners are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
