It’s hard enough to win art student of the year just one time, but Jaden Elliott has done it twice. Jaden won art student of the year both her freshman and her senior year. She is also vice president of Mt. Pulaski art club this year. On top of all of that, she is May’s Senior of the Month.
Jaden also serves as the vice president of student council this year along with being vice president of the art club. She served as an officer in the Spanish Club, is a Legacy group leader and has been inducted into the National Honor Society.
Jaden plans to go to Lincoln Land Community College and to later transfer to a university. She plans to study counseling.
The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by Johnson True Value Hardware and Larry Conaway Jr. Monthly winners receive a $100 award paid to the college the winner plans to attend. Monthly winners are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
