Alexander SrisaardBeing the top student in U.S. history, pre-calculus and physics do have its perks. Just ask Alexander Srisaard. He is the newest member of the student of the month club at Riverton High School. He is also an Illinois State Scholar and Urban Academic Achievement award winner. In addition to exceling in academics, Alex is member of the Worldwide Youth in Science & Engineering team, Math team, Scholastic bowl, strategic gaming and participates in school musicals, choir, jazz choir and chamber choir.

Alexander plans to attend ITT or Bradley University and study engineering.

This RHS January 2017 student of the month is the son of Angel Srisaard of Riverton.

The Riverton High School Student of the Month Award is sponsored by Illinois National Bank (INB). Alexander was chosen for the award by the staff and faculty of RHS based on attendance, academics, effort, conduct, cooperation, dependability, leadership, school involvement, and service to others. He will receive $50 from INB and will be eligible for 2016-2017 Student of the Year honors at graduation.
