Riverton High School senior Liam J. Green will be at Lincoln Land Community College next fall, working toward the skills he needs to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. After the nine-month program, he expects quick employment as there’s demand for technicians with HVAC skills to serve both residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and heating system customers.

But until then, Liam has the last part of his senior year to look forward to. He’s a four-year soccer and baseball player, and has been part of Hawk Pride since his freshman year.

This RHS October 2016 Senior of the Month is the son of Robert and Krista Green.

The Riverton High School Student of the Month Award is sponsored by Illinois National Bank (INB). Liam was chosen for the award by the staff and faculty of RHS based on attendance, academics, effort, conduct, cooperation, dependability, leadership, school involvement, and service to others. He will receive $50 from INB and will be eligible for 2016-2017 Student of the Year honors at graduation.
