Our Riverton and Mt. Pulaski Manager, Dee Pedersen, was recently promoted to Vice President.

Dee started her banking career as a teller in 1994 with First National Bank of Mt. Pulaski and soon worked her way into the operations/processing area of the bank. In 2008, INB acquired First National and Dee was promoted to branch manager. Since September 2013, Dee has successfully managed both the Mt. Pulaski and Riverton branches. She has continually demonstrated the capacity to take the opportunities presented to her and turn each one into a stepping stone to further her successful career.

Dee originally earned her license in cosmetology; however, the chemicals caused health issues, so she had to re-think her career. In 1994, an opportunity for a teller position opened up at the bank, and her real love of number crunching came alive! She worked her way into the operations/processing side of the business and then was recognized for her management skill. As a branch manager in two locations, she loves the challenges that everyday banking brings — whether it’s helping a customer balance a checkbook or finding a solution to a banking need.
