Taft Honored as Senior of the Month in Pleasant Plains

Chloe Taft kicks of the 2018-19 school year as the August senior of the month at Pleasant Plains High School. Chloe, daughter of Teresa and Alex Taft, was chosen by PPHS staff and faculty based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
She is a member of both National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America (FFA). She serves as co-president of the Spanish club, flute section leader in the high school band and Beta club member. Chloe is very active at her church, West Side Christian Church.
Chloe plans to attend a four-year university and earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She hopes to become a pediatric nurse.
The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by Illinois National Bank. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
