Danny Lee, Pleasant Plains high school senior of the monthDanny Lee is a true lover of all things associated with the performing arts. Being a member of choir and choir counsel, concert band and madrigals for all four years of high school, Danny spends most of his time on stage. Danny is the February Senior of the Month for Pleasant Plains High School. He was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

He has starred in four musical productions at PPHS and three drama productions. Danny served as low brass section and played the sousaphone in marching band. He’s participated in several community theatre productions at New Salem’s Theater in the Park and Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield. Danny loves spending time at his church, St. John’s Lutheran in Springfield. He’s helped coordinate vacation bible school for six years. He also volunteers at Kumlar Food Pantry.

Danny plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College in the fall. He will study battlefield archaeology in hopes of becoming a historical anthropologist.
