Senior Year Winds Down on a High Note for MPHS Student

Darren Jacob, son of Robert and Dorinda Jacob of Mt. Pulaski, has been named April Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School. He has been an active member of the MPHS Band and plays Friday night basketball games with the pep-band.
Daren was named physical science student of the year. He was also a part of the homecoming court his sophomore and senior year and was homecoming king his senior year.
Darren plans to work for the railroad as a conductor.
The senior of the month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc. Students are selected for this honor based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students earning the award are in the running for the $500 Senior of the Year Award sponsored by INB.
