April Senior-of-the-Month has Engineering Focus

Justin Holding is the newest April Senior-of-the-Month for Pleasant Plains High School. While focusing on the subject of engineering, he received two awards-one from World Wide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) regional first place and sectional second place for engineering graphics. Justin plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign to major in industrial engineering and minor in business.
He’s a member of the golf team, track & field team, Science Club, WYSE, Blackburn Academic Challenge, National Honor Society, student council class representative, Cardinal Ambassadors, Beta Club senior representative, Pole Vault Junkies Jump club, and Engineering Explorers post 6.
Justin is an Illinois State Scholar, Beta club build champion, Sangamon CEO vs. Sharks winner, and Blackburn second place winner for physics. He had perfect school attendance freshmen through junior years.
The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by INB. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. Winners are selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
