Tristan Hobson is the September honoree for Riverton High School’s Student-of-the-Month award. He has been involved in numerous activities like Key Club Vice President, Kiwanis, Hawk Pride, math team, Spanish Club, Gay Straight Alliance, track, cross country and dance. 

He has also assisted with teaching middle school Spanish, worked at the Riverton Elementary Scholastic Book Fair, Earth Day Fair, Festival of Trees and vacation Bible school. 

Attending the Florida Gulf Coast University while majoring in environmental engineering are his plans for the future. 

He was chosen for the honor by faculty and staff based on attendance, academics, effort, conduct, cooperation, dependability, leadership, school involvement, and service to others.

The Student-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by INB. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. They are also in the running for the $500 Student-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
