Numbers can be important in high school athletics.
So let’s try these numbers:
800
13,000
These aren’t personal records; instead, they’re a group effort between many of the local high schools in the area. And these numbers become even more exciting when you throw a dollar sign in front of them.
$13,000 is how much INB has been able to donate over the last nine years to local charities. $800 is how much each of the three designated charities received in 2021 alone!
These numbers are a reality thanks to the Touchdowns for the Table campaign through Neuhoff Media.
Each touchdown scored during the high school football game broadcast on Sports Radio 1450 or 96.7 BOB FM means $1 from INB for the campaign. Our high school athletes aren’t just playing for the win; whether they know it or not, they’re also scoring for local charities!
Why participate in Touchdowns for Table? Well, it’s not just because we’re football fans at INB (though that’s true too!) Being a community bank means we try to support the community in many different ways.
Both our employees and our clients live and work in the communities we serve. We believe in our communities, and we want them to thrive. So, you’ll find us everywhere – from opening a new client account to the Friday night football games to presenting a check to a valued local nonprofit.
This year, the Touchdowns for Table charities include:
- Friend-In-Deed, which provides food at Christmas for families in need within the Springfield area.
- Kids Café, a partnership between the Springfield Urban League and the Central Illinois Foodbank that feeds 75-100 children each day.
- Martin de Porres, an organization that provides food to 140+ families each day it’s open
You can watch the INB donation grow throughout the season by visiting the Neuhoff Media website.
INB is excited to keep cheering for our local football teams this season. Every point counts!
