For Rob Frederick, there’s no bad time to come to Florida and start or move your business!
As a 4th generation Floridian, he’s a Tampa Bay native and is amazed at the development of the area and the whole state, especially in recent years.
“I have seen a lot of growth and positive change in our communities, particularly with business expansion,” he shares. “And with good reason: we are open all year round, thanks to the beautiful weather.”
Rob is well-versed in business development. His expertise comes from hands-on experience, owning and running his family business in marine surplus. He credits that experience with learning about banking “the hard way,” through on-the-job training.
“I had quite a few mentors that took the time to teach me solid fundamentals,” he notes. “It was while running the family business that I discovered my drive for sales and finance, and looked to pursue a career that would capture both.”
That’s when he started down the path of banking. Over the years, he’s become an experienced leader in commercial relationship management, business development, loan production and community involvement.
Rob was drawn to INB by his colleague Allen Brinkman, now SVP, Florida Market CEO at INB. Rob joined the team as VP, Commercial Banker for INB Florida.
“My confidence in and the integrity of Allen Brinkman brought me to INB. That coupled with the strength of INB was a win-win,” he says.
Outside of the office, Rob is an avid saltwater fisherman and kayaker. He also loves to explore the U.S. National Parks and travel internationally to experience other cultures.
Rob is excited about settling in at INB and building relationships with new INB clients in the Tampa Bay area.
“What I’m really looking forward to is gaining an understanding of our clients’ goals to provide them with the best financial products and services to help them achieve success,” he says.
