Like many high school students, Jessica Fuess wasn’t sure what kind of career she wanted to pursue after graduation.
A native of Barclay, Ill., Jessica read about an opening at a local bank soon after she graduated from Williamsville High School and decided to apply. Her first position was as a teller and banker, but she eventually moved to other departments of the bank to grow her skills and explore what would fit her best.
Jessica has worked in deposit services, loan servicing, the call center, commercial loans and treasury management over the last 18 years. And now she’s found her ideal role as VP, Business Solutions at INB!
“I was drawn to INB because of its community bank feel and its involvement in the community,” Jessica shares. “I know some people that work for INB, and they have always told me what a great place it is to work.”
Helping Business Operate Better
Stepping into her new position at INB, Jessica is looking forward to helping clients enhance the efficiency in their business. She finds fulfillment when she can help someone make their operations run more smoothly.
“What I like most about treasury is helping business customers alleviate some of their pain points while running their business,” she says.
Cheering from the Sidelines
When she’s not at work, Jessica can be found cheering on the sidelines at her daughter’s sports events. Jessica and her 14-year-old daughter also just moved back into her childhood home and are making it their own.
“I’ve been working on a lot of house projects lately, and I love spending time with family and friends,” she says. “I also enjoy being outside, crafting and taking pictures.”
One of Jessica’s future goals involves starting a local pancreatic cancer walk in honor of her mom.
“I hope to donate the funds from the walk for a scholarship for a local high school student,” she explains.
For now, Jessica is glad to be settling in at INB and serving INB clients in all things treasury.
“I look forward to growing my career and expanding my knowledge in my Treasury Services role,” she says.
Welcome to INB, Jessica!
