Favorite part about working at INB: I can’t really say I have a favorite part; I’ve enjoyed it all. Being a part of INB through the years has been exciting, rewarding, and truly memorable.

What's one item on your bucket list? Travel to see the Aurora Borealis!

Jenny Broughton, Deposit Operations Officer

Favorite part about working at INB: I would say all of the wonderful coworkers I have worked with over the last 25 years. I have learned so much from each of them and what I have learned I continue to use every day at INB. I have also made so many close friendships here and consider them a part of my family. We are a unique place to work where you can build such lasting relationships.

What's your favorite vacation destination? Sarasota, Florida area. I have been going there since I was very young. When I go there, it is a home away from home and such a beautiful place to visit. I enjoy going to all of the beaches in the Sarasota County area, but one of my most favorite beaches to go to is Siesta Key. It is so beautiful and is such a peaceful place for me. I also have many other favorite places to go shopping in the area of St. Armands, Siesta Key Village, and the shops in Downtown Venice, Florida. One of my favorite places to eat is Sharky’s on the Pier in Venice.

Nancy Dunham, SVP

Favorite part about working at INB: I have always enjoyed almost all my many different responsibilities I have been assigned at INB. The main reason I am still here is definitely the great bunch of coworkers I am lucky enough to work with.

Favorite movie: Pretty Woman

One thing that always makes my day better: Sunshine

What’s your favorite vacation destination? Easily Vegas (so many different choices of activities)

Greg Floyd, VP, Deposit Compliance Services

Favorite part about working at INB: Establishing relationships with people – whether it be coworkers or customers. I also enjoy learning and teaching, especially the opportunity to learn new aspects of my current position all the while teaching coworkers and customers how to understand and navigate our work environment.

What's your favorite holiday? Christmas! Especially the music that coincides with this season.

One thing that instantly makes your day better: Helping someone.

Kathy Greer, SVP, Retail Executive

Favorite part about working at INB: the ability for many of us to work together to accomplish a major initiative and the satisfaction that brings when it is completed. I appreciate the collaboration that occurs to get things done!

What’s your favorite restaurant and what do you order there? My favorite restaurant is McAlister’s, and I get large, iced tea and Savannah Chopped Salad.

Lenora Jones, Senior Teller, Fairmount

Favorite part about working at INB: The people I work with every day. They make every day special for me.

One thing that makes my day better: sunshine.

Pat Phalen, EVP, Trust Officer

Favorite part about working at INB: This is simple… the people. I know this is so cliché but let me go more in depth. We are so fortunate to work at a place that has PURE PROFESSIONALS in every department, in every position. There has never been a time where I felt uncomfortable, nervous, scared, or unsure to send a customer to any department for help. We built this place for all the right reasons. We have had many “taglines” and “mottos” over the years.  We have created corporate goals and marketing strategies and sales training. However, at the end of the day, what works is one basic premise: WE PROVIDE SOLUTIONS. That’s it. That simple.  And how do we do that? We have employees/co-workers who put the customer first. Sometimes that solution is simply helping a customer with a fraud situation, or a payroll issue, or helping establish a checking account for a young teenager. Sometimes the solution is home ownership, the dream of owning your own business, or tax planning/estate planning. No matter what the customer’s need might be, no matter how simple or how complex, we have someone (or many someone’s) that can help provide the solution. I’m very proud to work with some of the most talented and caring individuals in the banking industry. YOU ALL ROCK!

What 3 things could you not live without? Sun, family/friends, Jack Daniels

What's one item on your bucket list? There is only one thing on my bucket list… to play Augusta (for you non-golfers, it is where The Masters is played… and if you don’t know what The Masters is, I’m sorry.)

What's your favorite holiday? 4th of July

Sarah Phalen, President and CEO

Favorite part about working at INB: There is something uniquely incredible about the genuine caring each employee here exhibits towards each other and towards our clients. I have never seen or felt such genuine compassion or empathy.  Everyone really likes each other, is invested in each other, and similarly cares about each other as friends. The same goes for clients. Given the tenure of many of us, some of our team has grown with our clients watching them grow up, celebrate marriages, watch them raise kids or grandkids and mourn with them during hard or challenging times. As mergers and acquisitions are the norm in most businesses anymore, it’s rare to have the same team of people working together for 25 years. We are truly lucky to get to work with and for our friends. It makes the great days even greater and the tough days not so bad.

What’s your favorite movie? Any Harry Potter movie

Favorite vacation destination: Rosemary Beach, Florida, or Breckenridge, Colorado

What's one item on your bucket list? Going to the Super Bowl

What's your favorite holiday?  Thanksgiving: it’s all about family, gratitude, and food. I love having everyone together.
