Abby Botz, AVP, Trust Operations

Favorite part about working at INB: I would have to say the group I work with. I have known some of them for many years prior to INB. They are not just coworkers; I consider them my friends.

What’s one thing that makes your day? When a customer or coworker tells me thanks for being so helpful with any issue or problem. That makes me feel appreciated.

Jamie Singer, VP, Deposit Operations

Favorite part about working at INB: After 25 great years at INB, I have to say the family environment is probably my favorite thing about INB. I’ve had and have some amazing coworkers and customers that truly have become like family. The way we all help each other and understand that in order for our employees to be happy, they have to feel confident that we truly care for them, and we all believe in the importance of family, not just our home family, but our work family too. I realized years ago the value INB has on their employees, and I could never imagine my work life anywhere else.

Favorite vacation destination: Anywhere with my family! I LOVE to travel domestically, but in recent years I like to say I am living my children’s dreams and traveling to every field, gym or track around. But, before their schedules got too crazy, we would take a family trip to a new destination every year. This year, we started back up on that tradition! However, I am always up for a good time in Las Vegas!!!

Lindsay Van Zele, Communications Officer

Favorite part about working at INB: Working at INB for 20 years has been incredibly rewarding. The supportive environment, dedicated team, and growth opportunities have been fulfilling. I even met my husband here; we’ve been married for 14 years and have two daughters. It’s a privilege to be part of such a supportive and inspiring work environment at INB.

Favorite vacation destination: “Oh Boy” in Mickey Mouse’s voice - Walt Disney World! We surprised my daughters with their first ever Disney trip last year for my 40th birthday. I’m a huge fan of everything DISNEY. Favorite princess – Snow White. Best ride – Big Thunder Mountain. Favorite park – Magic Kingdom! Character meet and greet – Cinderella.

Natalie Dodson, AVP, Mortgage Loan Officer

Favorite part about working at INB: I have the best group to work with. They are great people but also just hard workers. We have the best underwriters, closers, processors, mostly all mine ☺ Anybody that does a mortgage with me always said we make it so smooth; I am so blessed. And senior management supports all of what we need to do to continue to make it the best place to get a mortgage and work.

What 3 things could you not live without? As cliché as it sounds, definitely my husband. Close second my kids and my friends.

What’s one item on your bucket list? To do a long three month or longer trip through Asia and/or Europe.

Marilyn Titone-Schaefer, VP, Communications Director

What is one thing that instantly makes your day better? A text message from one of my daughters with pictures or videos of the grandbabies always makes me smile.

Favorite vacation destination: My husband and I have been out to Lake Tahoe a couple of times in recent years. It’s gorgeous: the huge pine trees, blue skies, clear water. You can be on the beach on a 75-degree day and be hot in the sun but cool in the shade.  There are tons of hiking trails! That said, I wouldn’t want to go there anytime but late spring or summer.  I’m not a snow fan, and Tahoe gets lots of it.

What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas is my favorite holiday because I have so many good memories as a kid. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters, and even though money was tight, my mom and dad always made sure the day was special.  I remember the small living room of the first house I lived in. The floor was almost totally covered with packages on Christmas morning. Our stockings always contained a tangerine and candy, things we didn’t regularly get. We found the stockings at the foot of our beds. Mom and Dad did this so we wouldn’t head to the living room too early in the morning.  It was always, “If you wake up early, check out your stocking.”

Travis Combs, Credit Analyst

Favorite part about working at INB: Definitely the people.  It’s easy coming to work every day when you work with such great co-workers.

Favorite restaurant, and what do you order? Westwoods! I love the Southwest Burger.

Beth Ogilvy, Audit Clerk

What’s your favorite part about working at INB? I have found that the most important ingredients for a fulfilling “job” are…

1) Doing something you feel is important for the organization and doing it well.

2) Having the support and encouragement of your supervisor.

I have found both at INB in the Internal Audit department and my boss, Brenda Yeager.

What 3 things could you not live without?

  1. My supportive husband and family (including our fur baby Olive).
  2. The Celtic Dance family I have been blessed with for the past 38 years.  Hearing from my “kids” who are successfully doing their thing all over the country is something that makes my heart happy.
  3. Most people would have been disappointed if I didn’t include “shopping for more shoes” so it’s got to be on the list - even though chocolate should probably be tied with that.

Madison Bragg, Mortgage Disclosure Specialist

Favorite part about working at INB: All the people I’ve met in the last 5 years! INB provides a sense of community unlike anywhere else I have worked before. There are so many people to reach out to that are ready and willing to help you solve day-to-day problems. I am so grateful for all the friendships I have made here!

Favorite vacation destination: Orange Beach, AL! I grew up going to Orange Beach most summers with my family, so it definitely feels nostalgic for me. The beaches are so pretty, and it feels much more slower paced than most beach towns. My fiancé and I are actually taking our honeymoon to Orange Beach after our wedding in November. ☺

Steven Sheffield, Courier

Favorite part about working at INB: My favorite part of working at INB are the helpful people; they are willing to show you and explain what is to be done and get it done any way you can, legally that is.

What’s your favorite holiday and why? New Year’s Day is my favorite holiday because you have a chance to think about the things you can improve upon in the coming year.
