Jennifer Gardner has a knack for keeping up with a whirlwind of responsibilities — both at home and at work. Not only is she the mother of five, but her weekdays are dedicated to her INB Trust/Wealth clients, as well as their attorneys and accountants.

Jennifer Gardner

Her hard work and relational efforts have not gone unnoticed at INB. We’re thrilled to announce that Jennifer has earned a well-deserved promotion to VP & Trust Officer!

Jennifer joined INB in January 2014 as a part-time trust administrator. But she was familiar with many on staff at INB already.

“In the 1990s, I worked as a trust officer in banking with many of the individuals that were an integral part of founding INB in 1999,” she reflects. “I started as a customer of the bank and then later as an employee.”

In 2016, Jennifer went full-time and was promoted to Trust Officer. Since then, she has contributed significantly to the department’s growth, expertly managing assets and overseeing crucial administration duties.

INB Offers Friendly Work Environment

“I had previously worked at large and mid-sized banks, and INB was the first community bank I ever worked for. I enjoy the friendly work environment, and I really like that even though INB has grown throughout the years, we’re very community-oriented, and decisions are made locally,” Jennifer shares.

Her influence at INB extends beyond numbers—Jennifer has helped to foster a collaborative culture that resonates deeply with her own work philosophy.

“I enjoy the friendly, team-oriented work environment. Everyone in various departments work together to provide excellent service and solutions for our clients,” she says.

Full-time Work and Home Lives

And Jennifer’s schedule is just as full off the clock as in the office, managing so many family activities with her five children: Daniel (age 26, who is married to Catie), Isabel (23), Mary (20), Catherine (18), and Tommy (15).

“We love visiting our daughters in college and grad school, watching Tommy play soccer at SHG, and visiting Daniel and Catie at their new home in Bloomington,” she says.

Despite the demands of a bustling household and a full career, Jennifer thoroughly enjoys building meaningful relationships with each of her clients at INB, especially working side by side with them to find solutions to meet their needs and goals.

“I am excited and humbled by my new promotions, and I look forward to continuing to serve my clients and help the bank move forward and grow,” she shares.

Congratulations, Jennifer!
