INB is wrapping up a great year with a celebration of fourth quarter service anniversaries.
Samantha Patrick is celebrating 20 years at the bank, and Dale Kroening is clocking in 15 years. At the 5-year mark, we have Marissa Graves and Lauren Hall.

Sam Patrick, AVP, Mortgage Operations Manager
Favorite part about working at INB: I’ve had the privilege of being part of INB’s remarkable journey over the past 20 years, almost as long as the bank has been rooted in the Springfield and surrounding communities. I started my career here at 17, and in many ways, I’ve grown up alongside the bank. I’ve built my life here — got married, started a family — and have had the opportunity to share those milestones with colleagues who’ve been on their own journeys as well. Working with many of the same people through life’s ups and downs makes my experience at INB even more meaningful. Watching the bank grow and adapt while staying true to its core values of service and community is something I’m incredibly proud to have witnessed firsthand.
What’s one thing that instantly makes your day better? Seeing others achieve their ‘win’ — whether it’s overcoming a challenge, reaching a goal, or finding a solution to a difficult problem — always brightens my day. I love being part of that journey, whether it’s offering guidance, providing support, or just listening. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone move from struggle to success. Whether I’m directly involved or just observing from the sidelines, sharing in that moment of achievement always brings me a deep sense of fulfillment.
Dale Kroening, Computer Operator
Favorite part about working at INB: My fellow associates. I’ve worked in the banking industry for 34 years at three different places, and nothing against those I’ve worked with in the past, but those I work with at INB are the greatest: always very nice and always there to help no matter what.
Favorite vacation destination: The Bahamas. I’ve been lucky enough to go there twice, and I love it. Great people, great food, and great vacation spot.

Favorite part about working at INB: My co-workers! I can’t believe I get to work with such a great group of people. Everyone is so helpful and fun to be around. I’m also very thankful that I have great supervisors. They take the time to answer all my questions in a way I can understand, and they also go out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable in the job I’m performing.
Favorite vacation destination: I’m a beach bum, so of course Destin, Florida, is my favorite place to go on vacation. I love all the activities and local food that Destin has to offer, but my favorite is spending the day at the beach.
Lauren Hall, AVP, Treasury Services Manager
Favorite part about working at INB: My favorite part about working with INB are my coworkers. They are an absolute joy to work with. I also enjoy the client base that we get to serve in Treasury and being able to help them streamline their business operations. It’s so rewarding to help!
What's your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Christmas. When I was a little girl, I used to decorate my bedroom with a full-sized Christmas tree, and I would use all of the Scotch tape in the house to tape strands of Christmas lights around my bedroom windows. I absolutely love the lights, music, decorations and most of all, the extra time with family.
