Having worked at a bank since high school, Sherrie Teague’s career has taken her to multiple regional and national banks over the years. But she has found the most satisfaction in community banking.

“I believe we are able to add more value to our customers and to our organization working in a community bank like INB,” she says.

Originally born in North Carolina, Sherrie’s family moved to Clearwater, Florida when she was 11 years old. Her banking career, started part-time while in high school, has included the jobs of teller, customer service and manager in branch banking, business banking and treasury operations.

Over the years, Sherrie has gained experience with sales management in various financial services segments, portfolio management, business development, and more. Her passion, however, is treasury.

Today, Sherrie is VP, Business Solutions for INB’s Florida market. Within treasury management, she enjoys the opportunity to learn about how each business operates and look for ways to partner to resolve issues and add efficiencies to their daily processes using treasury products and services.

When not at work, Sherrie and her husband Fred enjoy anything water-related and love spending time on their boat visiting small islands and beaches, including their favorite, Sanibel Island. Hosting cookouts with family and friends is another one of their favorite activities.

The couple has a blended family with three adult children and four grandchildren. They are also “big animal lovers” and currently have a 100 lb. American Bulldog named Beau.

Professionally, Sherrie is a member of the local Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) chapter. And she is involved with several local charitable organizations: American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, Clothes to Kids, Clearwater for Youth, and Habitat for Humanity.
