Angela Zindars started at the ground level when she entered the banking industry – fresh out of college – and has worked her way up, holding many positions over her 19 years in banking.

After working as a teller, personal banker, branch trainer, assistant manager, branch operations supervisor and branch manager for other local banks, Angie joined INB in 2023 as branch manager of INB’s Champaign Branch. 

“The more I learn about INB, the more parallels I see of what I think of as real community banking the way it should be,” she shares.

Angie grew up in the small town of Newman, Ill., 40 minutes southeast of Champaign, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University.

She and her husband Paul now make their home in Mahomet with their son Oliver. Spare time is spent playing with Oliver and watching sports and movies. Angie also loves to read; most days you can find her with her Nook or Kindle app open on her lunch breaks, taking in her latest mystery or romance novel. 

Angie devotes time to her community as well, singing on her church’s Praise Team and serving as member of the Women’s Business Council of Champaign County.
