Susan moved to Florida 2003. Once there, she worked for big banks and small banks, old banks and new banks. These jobs led her on the path to her latest challenge as an INB commercial lender.
With exceptional customer service being a trademark for both INB and herself, Susan isn’t worried about failure and instead looks forward to the challenge of building the INB brand in a new market. She expects the INB name and the lending team will be synonymous in no time at all.
Susan previously worked for Waterfall Bank, Axiom Bank, Ameris Bank and BBVA-Compass. She’s hired and trained commercial lenders, built brand awareness, helped develop underwriting guidelines and, served hundreds of business clients as a lending officer.
Providing service to the people in her community is important to Susan. She’s active in both business and service organizations. She’s on the finance committee of the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and helps kids living in poverty through the Downtown Kiwanis. She served as Kiwanis board president in 2017-18 and was a board member from 2015-19. She currently takes part in the University of South Florida’s Health Affinity Group.
She’s also active in IAMFREEDOM GIRL, a group that provides monthly outreach to help keep women from becoming victims of human trafficking. She works with Selah Freedom which helps women who do become victims. Read more about Susan’s commitment to victims of human trafficking here.
