Courtney “Cammy” Murfin has always loved math, numbers, and patterns. During her senior year of high school, she was “unwillingly” placed into an Intro to Accounting class, but found she really enjoyed the bookkeeping aspect of the course, which led her to explore banking.

When she bought her first home, Cammy was introduced to INB. She had such a pleasant experience working with INB mortgage lender Corey Kates that she decided to apply for a job at INB! She interviewed with Steve Miller, who retired from managing the Customer Care Center in 2023, and knew INB would be a great fit. Today, Cammy serves as Customer Care Consultant. “I enjoy helping others and love when I can hear that I put a smile in the customer’s voice,” she says.<

Cammy grew up in Auburn and is very close with her family. In her spare time, she loves to read, particularly romance/fantasy series with vampires, werewolves, and fairies. “I’m a huge bookworm!” she says. She has a newly sparked interest in journaling and is learning to crochet and sew in the hopes of designing her own clothes. Cammy has also volunteered at her local library, Ronald McDonald House, and Animal Protective League, and she enjoys participating in United Way’s Day of Action with INB.
