John Wilson was born in Springfield and grew up in Williamsville. After he graduated from Williamsville High School, he attended Sangamon State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.

John’s career in banking began as a drive-up teller for Magna Bank. After working his way up through different departments at several area banks over the years, he took a position for INB in 2011 as Executive Vice President, Chief Lender. “I enjoy working with the customers and employees to provide them with solutions that best fit the situation,” John says. “I have a great staff and support areas are excellent.”

John has two daughters: his oldest works for Disney World, and his youngest just graduated and has started the Disney College Program. In his spare time, he likes to play the drums or be outdoors hunting, fishing or working on cars.
