Trust Officer

Rhonda Ethell started her career for the original INB as a trust operations clerk. Since then, she’s worked in several trust positions for other banks, managing numerous high net worth accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance, as well as for the State of Illinois as a securities examiner.

In fall 2024, a chance Facebook Marketplace transaction with an INB staff member reconnected Rhonda with her roots. Learning about an opening at INB Wealth, she was thrilled at the opportunity to “come back to a company that puts people first,” she shares.

Today, Rhonda is a Trust Officer for INB’s Wealth office, located in Springfield’s Montvale area, where she provides trusted guidance and care to clients seeking to achieve their financial goals.

A lifelong resident of Athens, Illinois, Rhonda is deeply committed to her community. She serves as City Clerk for the City of Athens and as president of the Friends of the Athens Library.

Outside of her professional life, Rhonda treasures time with her family, including her two sons, grandson, and granddaughter. She has also nurtured a creative hobby making floral crafts into a flourishing side business, supplying The Country Road Relics store with floral crafts and participating in local vendor shows.
