Luke Wielgopolan was born and raised in Ottawa, IL. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Illinois State University, where he competed in track and field.

After college, Luke began working in the healthcare industry in the behavioral health sector. During that time, he discovered an interest in real estate, and he became a licensed realtor in 2021. Eventually, he became more interested in the financial side of the process.

In 2024, Luke joined INB as AVP, mortgage lending, for INB Bloomington.

“I love helping people achieve their goals of home ownership, whether it’s for themselves or wanting to pursue paths to wealth through investing,” Luke says. “I believe that my background as a realtor and being part of that world is extremely beneficial for me and my clients as I help guide them through the process.”

Off the clock, Luke enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Dani and her son Jack, along with their two dogs Baloo and Honey. You can also find him golfing, weightlifting, watching sports (especially the Cubs), attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

Luke also gives time back to his community. He’s involved with the Bloomington Normal Young Professionals group, part of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce. He began a book club for professional growth within that group. He’s also a member of Becoming BN and a committee member of the YPN (Young Professionals Network) for the Mid-Illinois Realtors Association.
